How do I post a picture of my desktop?

I did a search and didn't find the answer to my question. I'd like to post a pic of my desktop in another forum. Can someone please tell me how to do this? What options do I look for in that particular forum to see if posting an image of your desktop is possible?

Not that I want to post my desktop in
this forum but is this possible to do it here? If so, how would I do this?

Thank you

you would need to do a print screen, go in a image editor( like paint), paste the picture, then save it. Make your post but before you click submit click browse on the add attachement section and add your picture. Wach out for file size restrictions, you might want to make your pic a .jpg

Yes I figured out how to do this, thanks. And unfortunately, my file size is way too big to uploaded to the forum, even in .jpg.

I'm not trying to post it in this forum. Maximum file size there is 39.1 KB. Mine is 580.1 MB.

Make it smaller then. Although it would need to be small to fit 39k. (I use image resizer powertoy to resize my images, works great) Maybe find some other place to host it.

I use paint shop pro to rework my pics. It will tell you in properties what the file size is and you can adust it to fit the required size with the clik of a key.
