Still Having Disk Problem
Hi there,
Just to recap. Blue screen comes on my WIN XP. States it is doing a disk clean up. After 40 seconds the system turns off. I went into the C drive and did an error checking through there. I ran the Chkdsk Utility. I found the problem but don't know how to fix it. Here is the exact message that came on my screen. Unable to fix error. Disk checking was run without (F) fix parameters. Program Files/EA/Harry Potter. Skybox.utx entry contains a non valid link. I tried to remove this program under Add/Remove but this error message comes on stating: The system cannot find the file specific. Thanks Loree |

Try booting to SAFE mode and see if you can uninstall from there. If not, use the SEARCH function to find any related files and delete them. Another possibility is look for the program folder and see if it has it's own uninstall option. If none of that works, I'd get a Registry repair tool like Registry Healer or RegClean and use them to repair the registry.
