Hi guys,
I need to update multiple machines with windows update files. Is there a way to download all the updates to a file instead of straight to your machine? TIA, Snakeyes |

You'll have to track them down on Microsofts website. Then download them to you desktop or a folder of your choice. Then burn them to a CD and take them from one pc to the next, that what I did to install my SP4 for win 2k in my sig. Because the High Speed modem wouldn't let me connect untill I had at least SP2.

So you can download them to a specific location on your hard drive instead of directly to your system?
Is there a location that has all the downloadable updates on microsofts website? |

I think I solved my own problem. If you want the URL it is here: http://support.microsoft.com/default...&CT=SD&SE=NONA

Yeah the only bad thing is that some of them like IE 6 SP1 you can't download. You can only download the setup file. You still have to download the 11 or 12Mb file every time.
