Will this work? Multiple OS installs
I'm installing software on 4 identical machines tonite and tomorrow for my employer. I have 4 legit copies of XP (a 3 pack and a single copy). I'm thinking I can install on one, do all the updates and tweaks, install the additional programs common to all 4 and the use Ghost to transfer the image to the other hard drives. I would then install the Ghosted hard drives in each of the other 3. Every component of these machines are identical except for the ram. Two are using Crucial and two are using Kingston.
I've read over OEM Guys preinstallation kit info (that comes with the 3 pack), but I'm not sure I need the customiztion features. Questions: 1) Will this work? 2) How can I change the Product Key to provide the legit activation of each os? |

Thanx, bailey. Do you think I can activate them with a call to MS?

You should be able to since you have licenses for 4 machines.

We pretty much do the exact same thing at my job, and it works just fine.
