networking ?...........
i just networked my house, my network hub is in my room, with the road runner modem.........i ran two wires from the hub below the house to two other rooms, now my question is............can the 3 computers communicate through the network? the computers can access the share files, and we can print to one printer, so can we communicate through the network?...........we could communicate through aim, or any other messaging program, i know that, Im just wondering if there is another way.............I remember computers in school (7 years ago) that were networked had something like what im talking about.......oh btw im running XP on all computers..............ok thanx

What other way do you want???
You can go to a command prompt and type: net send xx.xx.xxx.xxx Hi Dad, how the heck are you! (relace the x's with the ip of the other machine(s) |
