Question One XP on two computers

Not quite sure how to title or word this.

I have Windows XP on this computer. I want to do another build for my kids to use. Can I load the same disc on both computers, or do I need to buy a seperate XP program for theirs because of licensing issues?

Thanks!

Clover

no you cannot use it on the second computer, the best thing to do is purchase a new copy of xp-home for the second computer. and don't forget to write down the key on the system someplace so it don't get mixed up with the other one.

Well shoot. I guess that doesn't help me to get by as cheap as possible.

Thanks for your reply!

Are you sure it can't be installed. Someone at TSS said it could, but violating copyright act, or somehting.

It can be installed.

It will quit working after 30 days if not activated.

It cannot be activated because it is already activated on another PC.

Another copy of XP is the only legal way.
