How do I . . . ?

How can I back up files from xp? I know there is a utility buried here somewhere just can't find it. Make your explanation as clear as possible I can be a little computer dense sometimes. Ok to a cd/r drive in the computer and blank cd/rs the nero version on this computer seems to be disabled for some reason.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Backup
