Multi boot, XP, win server 2003/ Win Server 2003
I was wondering, if multibooting windows Xp with Windows server 2003 and Windows server 2003 was possible, so in affect, I'll end up with 1 XP Pro and two intances of the same OS as windows server 2003?
The reason I ask is because we're currently running a production software on win server 2003, we would like to do some test on this software but only win server 2003 is currently supported, so can be partition the drive and run two instances of the same OS? |

If you are doing testing with OS I recommend you download a trial version of vmware workstation 4.0 http://www.vmware.com/download/workstation.html , 30 days trial. You install it on your workstation, than run vmware to install multiple copies of win2k3 if you like. Now you don't have to worry about multi-booting. HTH.

Sure - when you install M$ for multiboot, go oldest to newest, and install each instance on a separate partition.

Should be no problem as I did it on a test box a few months ago just follow Glc's directions.
