Setting up automatic tasks

I have never been able to get my disc defrag to work under my schedule tasks, not even on my new build. It always say could not start because an incorrect user name or password was entered. The problem is I have never entered a password and I am the only one who uses this computer. Anyone have any ideas what the problem may be? Thanks.

When you run the schedule task wizard, you have to enter a machine and username, and a password. If you never set a password, of course the password will be blank. When I add a task, it automatically fills in my machine name and current logged in username. (Win2K)
