I have or had all of them. I have one computer with XP pro, one with 98SE, and a laptop with XP Pro also. The laptop used to be XP home till it was upgraded and the desktop with pro was upgraded from 2K pro. The laptop also has Linux Libranet 2.7 on it and the XP desktop shares it with Knoppix Linux. The kids computer stays with 98SE because he is afraid of losing the use of some of his older games.

My main Computer has Windows XP Pro. installed on it. My office back-up computer has Windows 98SE and Windows 2000 Pro installed on it. My wife's computer has Windows XP and my son's computer has Windows XP. I like Windows XP Home edition for its cost.

Xp Home I did also have 2000 pro installed once before, but had nothing but problems when I installed Xp after 2000. I did find a way to correct that problem. If Xp is already installed, and you want to install say 2000, just remove the Hd with XP and then install 2000. They both will be C drive, but each will recognize the other as D.
