Dial up networking in Control Panel

I am working on a computer and I notice that the dial up networking is missing in the control panel. Is there a way to restore this folder within the control panel?

Add/remove programs, Windows Setup, Communications. If dialup networking is unchecked, check it. If it's checked, uncheck it and reboot, then go back in and check it again. If the machine doesn't have a modem or you will not be using direct cable connection, you don't need it anyway. Have the Windows CD ready, or know where the cab files are on the hard drive.

thanks glc.
it was strange because the old connectoid kept coming up for the ISP cause always connect was checked. I changed that and did exactly what you suggested. problem was that the customer said she was not going to use internet and i did not go back in and check to see if the removal reboot and reinstallation had put that icon back in control panel. i am glad it is probably fixed.
