Question Help! Installing WIN XP PRO SPK1

Ok, This is a fresh build I started this morning. I got the bios configured and then restarted the pc with windows xp pro cd in cd rom, It formated my new WD. 160 gig hard drive fine then started loading windows. Then it stopped and says SETUP CAN NOT COPY FILE: oembios.bin

Press ENTER to retry

ESC to Skip Caution: If you skip this file windows setup may not complete and windows xp maynot work properly

F3 to quite setup.

What should I do? I am sitting here staring at this screen...

Thanks for any fast help

I went ahead and told it to skip for now and see what happens. Now it says it couldn't copy these files either..

vcdex.dll
xptht41D.jpg
vga.sys
userenv.dll

Man what the heck is wrong here.
This is a OEM version of windows xp pro with spk1

Any help?

Cool

XP is particular about RAM. What kind and how much do you have? If you have multiple sticks, try removing one.

What are the other specs of your PC?

Is this OEM or retail version of XP.

OK.. Here we go...

Mobo - ASUS A7N8X - E Deluxe
CPU AMD 2500+ Barton
RAM ELIXIR 256mb ddr pc3200 ( 2 of these) total 512mb
Hard Drive Western Digital 160gig 7200rpm 8mb cache
DVD Burner Sony 8x DVD +/-R/RW
Floppy drive
Video EVGA e-Geforce FX 5200 128mb ddr
case skyhawk
psu 450watt atx

Windows XP PRO SPK1 OEM

I know from what I read the ram brand is junk and theplace I bought it through when I order some of my parts was supposed to get me Kingston. So he reordered me kingston ram to replace this ram and said to use it till my kingston ram comes in.

I think it is going to work this time... Stupid me put the oem sticker on the cd with the key code so I wouldn't loose it. Well I think that made for a unbalanced cd spinning so fast. So I pulled the sticker off and put it on the manual that came with xp. And The cd sounds alot quieter now when spinning.
So I restarted the pc and reformated the drive and reloaded xp and no problems thus this far. I will keep you posted. Thanks for your help...
