delete old dial up

Hello People,

When setting up a dial up connection one of the things you must enter is your locall area code. Where can you change this?? If one deletes the dial up in tools/options/connectins, will that force a new area code setup???

Thanks all

AL

Send a message via MSN to QuickSilver
If you delete the dial up connection, you will have to go through setup again.

I know I will have to set up again the problem is if i originally set up in one state (area code) and the computer is moved to another state different artea code . Will just removing connection in tools/inet.options connections, force the inetwiz to redo the area code ,or is their some where I can change it.

Thanks All

Uninstall/reinstall your internet provider software. Hopefully you aren't using something like AOL. With Earthlink, ATT, etc, it just takes a minute.

Just edit your location in the modem options in control panel.
