System disk

how do i create a system disk for windows xp?

You don't need one. The WinXP CD is bootable and it's all you need for the OS installation.

In BIOS, set the CD-ROM to the first boot device, put the WinXP CD in the CD-ROM drive, Save and Exit the BIOS, the system will reboot to the WinXP CD and the installer will take over. Just follow the on-screen instructions.
