system volume information

HI all,
I am running grisoft anti virus, it says I have a virus in the SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATION file, when I try to open it access is denied and the properites say it is a hidden file (greyed out) is there a way of changing it so I can get rid of this virus (trojan).OS is XP pro sp1.
Please help

Turn off system restore.
Delete the folder.
Turn system restore back on.
Set a restore point manually.
Rescan.

the virus are dyfica.r stubby.a and dyfica.aa

I did the Reboot procedure and I am pretty sure it worked
