xp reinstallation
the last time that i reinstalled xp and i get to the partitioning place, isn't it suppose to say my hard drive's modelnumber or something, but instead it just says unknown disc but it steill recognized the capacity so why does it say unknown disc even though i saw that i still installed xp and nothing is wrong

I've seen that very often, but ususally it will say "generic" disk. Don't worry about it.
