C:\WINDOWS blue folders

Hi, I'm running XP Pro and have uninstalled a couple of programs. Now in my windows folder "C:\WINDOWS" I have 11 folders named "$NRUni...". Each of these folders has several files and some with files and folders. The name of these folders is in blue. Will it be safe to delete these folders? The largest of these folders contains over 22 megs.

I'd like to get rid of these folders but am afraid it might be a part of the uninstall feature in Windows.

Sure would like to hear some comments on what this is.

Hank

I believe they are files necessary for uninstalling service packs and critical updates. It's probably a good idea to leave them alone.

if they dont show up as viruses and dont cause any system trouble, then I'd leave them alone.
