Hello Everyone,
I am experieicing a problem with my associated icons. I recently had to restore my computer from a backup and I can't complain because I was able to save a whole lot of data. The only problem that I am having is now all of the icons associated with specific programs (ie - Windows Media Player) are not being displayed. All I have is the default program icon. The computer knows that the programs are associated with the music, but the icon is just not there. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this happened and how I can get the icons back? Thanks, Anthony |

You can try installing TweakUI and do an icon repair.

Thanks, for the link glc. I forgot to mention that I am running Windows 2000. I tried to look around for the tools on google and from there a found a source that said only two powertools were avaliable to Windows 2000.
