Installing Win2000 or XP over 98?
A friend wants to upgrade to Win2000 or XP from Win98. How do I wipe his HDD clean and install the new OS? Do I need a program like Partition Magic? Thanks.

xp will do all that for you, just boot up with the cd and do a new clean install by flowing the instructions

Both XP and 2000 can format and partition the HDD, just boot to the CD and follow the instructions.
