Uninstalling/Installing Network card
I'm trying to install a Linksys network card into one of my PCI slots but I can't seem to be able to disable my onboard one in any way; (when I uninstall it comes back after reboot)
What is the right procedure? Please help the noob. Thanks, |

Go to the control panel, right click the onboard one, click disable. It will still be there but will be disableled & cause no conflict.

You can disable it in the bios.
Why are you trying to put a card in? The onboard adapter is as good as or better than a cheap card. |

I'm having problems with Steam and I was told to get a add-on card as my on board one can get "overworked".
