how to reformat hd
hi guys i just bulit a computer but yes i did get my hands on a bootleg copy of win xp pro and i am getting the real thing now and i wanted to know how do i reformat the hd and put the real win xp on it or do i have to buy a whole new hd bc of the bootleg one any help would be great.

Go into BIOS, change the first boot device to the CD-ROM, put the real WinXP CD in the CD-ROM drive, Save and Exit the BIOS, the computer will reboot to the WinXP CD and the installer will take over. Follow the on-screen instructions.
