I have a friend who has ME installed on a computer, his PC went bad while performing an update. We are to the point of reformating it. The only problem there is alot of data that he does not want to lose on it "my documents". Can I take that hard drive out of that machine put in mine (Windows XP Pro) as a slave drive, access his "my documents" and burn a copy of it? Is this possible?
