XP welcome screen privacy issue
can anyone advise how I can stop the Windows XP welcome screen broadcasting my hotmail address to the world at large on a shared PC which I have a user account on (displays mail alerts under each user).

Download and install TweakUI for Windows XP. When you run it,click the [+] sign next to "Logon" to expand the list. Click on "Unread Mail" and disable the option to show mail.
