Press F8 Last Known Good Profile
I could have sworn I asked this before. Anyway if I did I couldn't find it. Sorry Mods if I did.
On with the question: You know the option to press F8 and choose the Last Known Good Configuration or Profile? Well I want to where are the settings for that? I want to know what is it set to; can I force a save before a driver or application load; etc.? |

Last Known Good Config can only fix configuration problems if you use it before a successful reboot and logon after a change. You must enable it immediately after a new driver install but before you have logged back on. Major driver installs need a reboot so using this as a "cheap man's" system restore is a bad idea.
