Remove Control Panel Icon

My daughter downloaded AIM last week and I just found a bunch of Wild Tangent stuff on my comp. Spybot and Adaware got rid of most of it and a search found the empty files which I deleted. However, there's an icon in Control Panel (XP Home) that I can't seem to get rid of. Right clicking offers only the options of "open" or "create a shortcut". I checked in the registry but I can't find anything there relating to Control Panel icons. Anyone know how to remove this thing?

Just do a search in C:\Windows for all files with the extension .CPL. When you get the list, just delete the one that refers to your mystery icon.

While you are at it, you may want to search the registry and remove all references to that icon, too, so that you will not get any error messages on next startup.

If I remember correctly, TweakUI lets you remove Control Panel icons, give it a try.
