Screen resolutions

Howdy,

Is there a way I can have a resolution of 640x480 pixels in Win XP? The lowest res I get in the Screen Properties is 800x600.

Even better, is there a way I can add a shortcut to my desktop to switch resolutions?

I have several videos that I wanna run in full screen without them becoming too pixelated.

TIA

Hi,

I believe it's the graphic drivers that don't offer the 640x480 option anymore, not WinXP itself.
Even though I don't believe your videos will look better as they're stretched to full screen anyway, but you can try the compatibility mode. It allows you set 640x480 and/or 256 colors.

Take a look at Sizer. It's freeware that will allow you to change the resolution one or more windows without disturbing the global resolution setting. 640X480 is one of the options.
