Wipe Hard Drive Clean and Start Over

I appoligize if this is a repeated question but can somebody explain crisply how I wipe my hard drive clean and start over? I recently purchased a Dell 8300 with XP Pro. I was having video problems and at one point Dell advised me to reinstall the OS. In doing so I messed it all up. I think I deleted partitions and now have two installs of XP. Want a fresh start... Thanks much.

put in the WINxp disk, reboot. it should boot to the cd, and give u instal options. When you get to the point where it asks u where to instal the OS, and shows you your partitions, delete all your existing partitions, then make a new one for the new install and install it there.
