Disk cleanup issues
Curios, iven oticed on many machines using windows XP, when you try to od disk cleanup, it takes forever, someitmes never even gets done. Like it will scan, then when u tell it to run it stays on 'compressing old files' and doesnt appear to make any progress, even if u let it run overnight. Ive had this happen with 3 dif machines, ideas?

does it finish scanning eventually? Under C: properties, if "Compress contents to save space" is checked, uncheck it. you dont really need it, if you have a pretty large hard drive. i have it disabled, and it even still takes awhile to scan compress old files on my hard drive.

sometimes it finishes eventually, but on one machine i ran it overnight and it never finished. They are already not set to compress.
