Trouble Loading XP Home, Help Please

I just finnished putting to gether a new system and I am attempting to load Win XP Home. After about 10 min. I get the message:
"The following value in the .SIF file used by setup is corrupted or missing.
Value 0 on the line in section (source discs files) with key "SP1.cab"
Setup cannot continue To quit setup press F3"
Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
Thanks in advance

Cool

Bad or questonable memory can cause loading problems. If you happen to have 2 sticks of RAM, try with one stick and then the other. Try a different stick if you are using generic RAM.

i would guess it is either a bad xp cd or your cd-rom is bad,i had that problem with a faulty cd-rw, put in a different one and it loaded. i suppose it could be other things(including memory) but that is my first guess.

I got it working!
It was both the CD ROM drive and 1 bad stick of RAM.
After trying multiple combinations with the use of a working drive (pulled from a working machine) I was able to get it working.
Thanks for all the help!
