oem or regular

I am building my first computer and was wondering if I should get the Oem of XP Home of the regular boxed version. I want to spend the least amount but still want help if something goes wrong with my computer.

OEM is cheaper, but you won't get support from Microsoft.

Since it's your first time building a computer, you'd need the manual and support. In case you can't install windows or it keeps crashing or something like that.

C'ant you still get support if you pay? If you can in the end its gonna cost you less anyways. If you have a problem pcmech is always here too.
