Windows XP Accounts
I made 4 accounts for each person in family, all with administrator type accounts.
Is there a way to make it so that if someone installs a program, it will only be on their account, and not on anyone elses, not even visible on other accounts? Thats the whole reason why we made seperate accounts, so we dont get cluttered with aonther persons junk (files AND programs) can it be done? |

Some programs will give you the choice to install for current user only, or all users. Others, you may have to delete the shortcuts in each profile.

Unfortunatly most programs don't take advantage of the multiple accounts in XP. Just delete the shurtcuts on each account as GLC said.

How do I delete the names in the Start Menu? when I press delete, it says " modifying this will affect all users"
Does this mean is deleting the program and not just the shortcut? |
