wmp 6.0 in xP?

will wmp 6.0 work in XP (Home Edition)? TIA.

Yes,no problem but version 9 is the latest

I really prefer 6.0 over 9.0...........don't need all the visualization and other features of 9.0 and I prefer the simple 6.0 interface.

You can apply the version 6 skin to 9 if you prefer that interface. WMP9 comes with a heck of a lot more codecs, so it's able to run more types of files.
