Updates....to boot!

Are you still afraid of getting the Xp SP3? Drop all your fears. Here is how the Package helped me.

Changed my 20 second boot time to 0 seconds (I run anti virus...wireless network...all media players known to man...all at startup)

Less errors (thank God)

Internet explorer doesn't run choppy...

My windows 2000 on dual boot on this machine takes 1 minute to boot. So I can saftley say that the update helped my Xp Pro Boot run VERY smoothly.

I'm running SP2 but didn't see any noticable change in performance of any kind...

Hehe, I saw alot of changes, I think your right, it might be the Sp2. Get all the other 40 updates from MS too, my system has been running very well...
