Snap-in failed to initialized
Anyone have idea on the following error in Windows XP Pro:
Snap-in failed to initialize. Name:IP Security Policy Management CLSID:{DEA8AFA0-CC85-11D0-9CE2-0080C7221EBD} I got this error when I click on the Windows Settings/Security Settings in the group policy. I also receive this error when I go into the Start/Administrator Tools/Local Security Policy. As soon as I click the Local Security Policy, the snapin failed to initialize window popup everytime. I'm assuming those two are connected. And no, it's not because I use the Tweak UI as was mentioned in an article in MS Knolwedge base. Any suggestion is appreciated. ljCharlie Last edited by ljCharlie; 03-30-2004 at 10:50 AM. |

I'm very sorry...I checked the Windows XP/2000/NT forum back to Mar 28 and it's not there so that's why I post it again.
The path is all there...nothing is missing. Still not working. Again..I'm sorry...I will use my initial post then. ljCharlie |
