No CD drive - Windows 95 Floppy Boot Disk?

I am trying to boot a laptop with windows 95. I only have a floppy drive. What are the command prompts I need to type in and what is the best way to make the boot disk?

I have made a couple boot disks by using other machines with windows 95, but could not remember the commands to type in when booting.

Thanks

If I understood you right the laptop has Windows 95 on it but just can't boot on its own ?

You can download a bootdisk from www.bootdisk.com or you can just sys a floppy, then you'll get a very basic boot disk. But it is enough if you just need to edit autoexec.bat and config.sys.

Using floppy boot disk. During boot sequence, this comes up.

“No drives found, aborting installation”

“Device driver not found: ‘BANANA’.
No valid CDROM device drivers selected
A:\>

Keep in mind this laptop does not have a cdrom drive. Any ideas on how I can get this laptop booted. Thanks

You want to boot and not install an OS, correct? From the C: prompt, if 95 is already installed, you should just type "win" and windows should boot into the GUI.
