WinXP Question
Alright, I am wanting to upgrade everything but the harddrives and CD/DVD ROM drives. Will I need to purchase WinXP if I am not changing harddrives? Thanks for your help

If you already have Windows XP, you just need to reactivate it.
You can activate Windows XP over phone or using the Internet. |

Yes, I already have XP on my computer. It came pre-installed on my emachine. Now, I am upgrading everything except harddrives and disc drives.
How would I go about reactivating XP after my build is completed? |

If your throwing out everything except the drives I doubt the e-machines cd will recognize the machine.
You can try but be ready to go out and buy a copy of XP when it doesn't work. |
