explorer.exe uses lots of ram...

I've had this build for 3 years now (specs below)... and i'm thinking that my processor is dieing out.. But i came to ask if it is normal that explorer.exe (XP Pro sp1) is using up 30MB Ram as soon as it loads? iexplorer.exe is just the same.. what's the deal? I'm trying to figure out why my comp is crashing a lot... This may be part of the problem, but i'm not sure.

I am not sure about right at startup, but I am running XP Pro SP1 and right now explorer.exe is using 15,752 K and Mozilla is using another 34 MB.

Edit note: I just ran a little test with Task Manager in the Startup folder so I could watch it and my explorer.exe still only uses about 15-16 MB on startup. On shutdown however it spikes up to around 30-32 MB.

Hope this helps.

yeah... i guess it's not much of a problem.. cause i've been running my machine regularly and it doesn't seem like it's going up much... or down... i guess it just uses a lot for my machine...
