stupid question about installing service pack 1a

hey guys

can any of you please walk me through how to go about installing service pack 1a for win xp? i've got an older oem copy of xp home that came without it. downloading it from microsoft's site would've taken my crunchy old isp connection 8 hours or so, so i found a local computer store who burned me a cd copy.

the cd doesn't autorun in my cd drive, and when i browse thru its contents, i can't find anything in there that's an obvious setup program. i did find an html document that said to go to "run" in the "start" menu & run an app called "XPsp1.exe" from the cd drive. however, there seems to be nothing there by that name.

help, please!

thanks!

Uncheck "hide extensions for known file types" in your folder options, and list all the files and folders you see on the CD.
