svchost.exe keeps causing errors and closing down in win2000
This happens all the time for no apparent reason. Nothing seems to happen when it closes but it worries me why it does. Can anyone tell me why this closes and what I can do to fix it. I have win 2000pro.

I just reinstalled win 2000 pro with service pack 3 so I know its not a virus. Could it be that I have an old Viper V550 video card that could be causing the problems? Everything else in it is brand new.

All it takes is 5 minutes on the Internet with no firewall without all critical updates to get something like the Blaster worm, and you will never know what hit you. Start scanning.
