Steve Gibson of www.grc.com
says to shut down plug n play to close a hole in W2K and XP. I thought plug N play was a needed service. Can anybody shed some light on this? Carl |

Thats UPnP (universal plug and play) - a whole different animal. This is for networking, not hardware devices.
