Question Wierdest Problem

It is not a very bad problem but a very odd one for wich i have not yet found a solution. I have 2 hard drives. C contains windows etc and D is for storage..music, the odd film, pictures etc. I always have my folder views on "Icons"..It is the way a preffere it. But!!.. Every time i open internet explorer it changes the view from "Icons" to "Thumbnails" in my D drive.

All subfolders under D Drive and C drive views stay the same as "Icons" but my view of D:/ Drive changes. Not that it is that much of an issue, but a problem this wierd i would love to know why it does this, and, if possible, how to sort it out.

No matter if the folder is open or not, or whether i restart or do any combination of events, it always does it.

Pentium 4 1.6Ghz
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 (Up to date)
Virus checked, spyware checked
Kazaa nearly always running.

Any Ideas anyone?

I suspect that this is a glitch in XP. I have four Hard Drives in my computer and keep the Folder view in Details, but there will is a couple of folders that revert all the time to the icon view. Reset it and all is fine for a while, but then some folders will start showing as icons again.
