Unhappy Outlook 2K - Eluding Exchange connection error

I have a user who keeps receiving "Network problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer." error message on an intermitten basis. I've called out server team and they say that the server is fine. I checked her cable and it seems to be securely connected to her laptop plus her Lotus notes client is also working, too.

This sounds like a Networking Forum question.

Good luck!

jrubio,

Have you set up and tested the user's email on another machine (preferably on a different network segment if possible)?

To LiVeWiRe,

Thanks for the suggestion. I will get back to you on that.

To Red,

I wasn't sure if it was a network issue. I wanted to make sure it wasn't my issue first. Thanks.

If anyone else wants to reply, go ahead.

jrubio,

If you haven't already you may also want to look at the event logs on the user's computer...that may provide some specific info to troubleshoot.
