Hey gary i have tried the fixes in the tread you gave me neither worked.... ill will tell you the exact message

Explorer has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL
Explorer will now close

If you continue to experience problems,
try restarting your computer

and that is it... it starts as soon as windows is fully loaded and it will not go away... i was thinking about doing a clean install of windows but windows won't let me get into my cd burning software... so that means i can't save any of my files i need.... ugh please help

If you already ran AdAware, Search&Destroy, and a full system AntiVirus check with up-to-date virus definitions, and you still have this problem, another try for a quick fix might be an over-the-top http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.p...threadid=70846

Don't forget to disconnect from networks, cameras, scanners, printers, etc. . . and disable your motherboard's bios antivirus before running the reinstallation. If all goes well, your data will still be fine, and you won't have to reinstall all your programs. If the cd-recorder software isn't working, you might want to uninstall that, too, before the Windows reinstall, and then reinstall the cd-recorder software.

Do the errors always happen at startup? Another thing you can try is to see if you can boot to Safe Mode [tap the F8 key as the system is starting]. In Safe Mode you could try msconfig and disable some of the programs running at startup [you need to let explorer and the systray run a startup, but most others you can try life without]. . . If that makes the error go away, re-enable programs to run a startup one at a time, until the error reappears = you've then found the culprit. If possible, uninstall and then reinstall that program: or stop it from running at startup.

To run msconfig, just enter msconfig in the Start/Run box, and press Enter.

Hope it's Ok soon
