Virus? Bad patch? RAM? It reboots.

I just came back from my vacation, and I turned on my computer, and everything was fine. I downloaded the latest security updates, and restarted. I surfed a bit, then started messing with memory timings and things to try to get it to run @ 200MhZ. I got it to run, and found out that CAS3 @ 200MhZ was slower than CAS2.5 @ 166MhZ (83% FSB:Memory, CPU FSB stayed at 200 all the time).

Did some stuff, and then suddenly my computer restarted. I set that thingy so that it shows BSOD instead of restarting, and soon enough, a IRQ_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL popped up. So, I changed all timings & stuff to what it was when it worked. Still BSODs.

I resotred to the restore point made before security patches (It's called "Software Distribution Service 2.0", is that one created before patches?). Still

I'm going to do a virus scan now, and see the results.

If everything else doesn't work, I might have to use my backup image, which is better than formatting, but it's a few days old (A few days and a week actually, but that week I was on vacation, and the comp was off) :\

EDIT: BTW, I have SP2, but for a week or two after installing, I had no problems....

Try putting all your memory settings back to default. RAM is the usual culprit for that BSOD. In this case, the OCing probably caused the problem.

Strange....

It stopped BSODing, even though it did once after I had set the memory stuff back to what it was. The memory crashes on CAS3 (what the sticker says) and works with 2.5 (what the BIOS detected)?????

EDIT: Reapplied the patches, and it still looks stable.... I guess it was the RAM
