Windows XP Backgrounds
I am running win98se and was wondering if there is a way to use some of the windows XP background themes, such as autumn? If so, how?

Not sure, really - is my short answer. There are several theme-centered websites who specialize in just this sort of thing. A quick Google for XP theme for Windows 98 will bring up a truckload of links. One of those sites might have your exact answer.
If you just want to use the XP wallpaper, that should work OK in Win98 if it's a file type that 98 can handle. [If not, you could always convert it to a different format with an image editing program]. For some formats, Win98 will need the Active Desktop enabled to display it as wallpaper. If you want a whole theme to work, you could try something like this freeware utility - - http://www.golddownload.com/Desktop_...mes_20248.html In it's introductory blurb, it only mentions four themes, however. So to get exactly the theme you want, you might have to search around a bit. Best of luck . . . Gary |

Thanks Gary - I already did that search on Google and your right -I found a tremendous amount of info. Before I did anything, I wanted to get some feedback from some more experienced "tweakers" here.
