Viewing one computer's files on another

Ok, I have asked how to do this about 2-3 months ago but still havent done it and forgot how. To be more precise what I want to do is to be able to browse and search files of another computer in my house because I think someone.

Another question is this. I want to find all files on the other comptuer by using Search feature, I see all the hidden and regular files of specified format and date range. But, is it possible for previous user of the comptuer to hide the files in such a way that the search feature will not display them?

How to go around this?

the answere will all depend on how you have the two computers connected.
what file system both systems are useing and what O/S both systems are running, and exactly what it is that your wanting to do.

Both are NTFS formatted if thats what you mean. One is xp pro other home. I want to browse through the temporary internet files, history, and files of the other computer in the room. I would probably connect them through usb cable.

You would have to set up a home network and share the whole drive or use a remote desktop program to do what you want.
