after installing win98se why don`t i have more than 16 colors to choose from?..... you know in the display properties....
do i need to get the drivers for that mobo ? video is on it .. Dick

Yes you need to download and install the drivers.

As RJ stated, you will need to download and install the drivers. When you install new hardware, or in this case, a reinstall of Win98se, you will loose everything on that partition. If you do in fact have the drivers installed, you will need to go to the Mfg. website of your video card and monitor and get an updated driver.

If you know the make/model of your graphics card (or onboard video), you can post it here & we might be able to get a link to the drivers for you.
If you need help identifying the card, we might be able to help you with that, too. . . . Gary |
