Can't figure this out. Help please

Take a look at the attachment you will see that I have extra connections that are not being used.I tried to delete them but they show up on the next boot every time. All I need is the connection 3. How do I delete those so they wont come back.

Does all these extra connections slow down my boot up? It feels like it.

thats ok, windows see the firewire as a lan connection even though its not used, every system I've seen has that shown in that display, the only thing I see differanr is that you have two of them.
so I don't think it will cause you any problems.

The firewire ports are hardware... it's gonna keep putting those back. Looking at what you have there, I assume you have two firewire ports on your machine.

Also, it appears that you have two network adapters in your machine as well... again, it's going to show these there whether you want them or not unless you physically remove the hardware. I wouldn't worry about it.
