Task Manager problem

I can no longer access Task Manager, when i press crt+alt+del i get a error box saying "Task manager has been disabled me your Administrator" can anybody tell me what i hav done and how to rectify it, thanks Matt

Check to see the value for the following key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\DisableTaskMgr
0 = default : Task manager is enabled
1 = disable Task Manager
HTH

Of course, needless to say you can edit the registry only if you are the administrator, or as a user with administrator priveleges. If you cannot edit the registry then you need to contact your system administrator.
