Angry Restore Archive Running away

My ME has built up a 6 gigabyte archive file and won't let me delete any of the files. It says access denied file may be in use. I've tried to change the file attributes unsucessfully. I've tried changing the paramater slider to set the amount of disk to be used with no effect. Any help appreciated.

How big is your hard drive? If your hard drive isn't filling up then don't worry about it.

Are you referring to the system restore folder? If so, you have to disable system restore to empty it.

Also, any Idea why it did that (tried to consume the entire disk).

The restore allocation is expressed as a % of your entire partition size. Only when the restore size reaches the max. allocated area does Windows delete the old restore points. You can adjust the size by following the directions here: http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=winme
